Yoga Holiday Dalyan, Turkey

A wonderful week of Iyengar Yoga in June 2025, at the popular destination of Dalyan.
Based in an idyllic natural setting on the Dalyan River in Turkey, this is a very clean, brackish river, only half an hour through wetlands by water taxi to the gorgeous Itzuzu Beach – a Unesco heritage site for nesting loggerhead turtles.
We stay in the friendly family-run Likya Pension, in a combination of twin or double rooms, each with a private simple bathroom. The Likya is on the Dalyan River, with a platform for swimming and sunbathing, a bar and a courtyard with chairs for reading and relaxing. It is about a five minute walk to a corner supermarket and 10 minutes to the centre of Dalyan, with a huge choice of restaurants and shops.
There is plenty of time for you to explore the wetlands area, archeological sites (Kaunos) and other local attractions if you are interested in outings, or to simply relax with a good book or visit the beach. There are bikes available for hire if you want to explore the area more fully.
Ahmet, the Likya owner, also runs award-winning boat tours, so he will host us on two different boat cruises – a sunset cruise upstream to the lake and thermal springs and mud bath then to the beach for the sunset, and another along the beach and up the coast. There will be an extensive home-cooked meal on board on each of these trips (with veggie, meat or fresh fish options).

Prices for 2025 are: £685 for shared double (sharing with a friend or partner) or £825 single occupancy. Taxi transfer from Dalaman airport extra - we can arrange for you at a cost of around £40 per taxi (shared between occupants). Payment can be made via Bank Transfer to keep processing costs down. Card payments are possible for a fee to cover bank charges.
